Ciao! Or should I say, chow?
Thanks for visiting Skinny Sweet Treats! For the past few months I’ve been going through a major lifestyle change, beginning with how much I exercised and continuing through what I ate. I’ve always tried to be “healthy” per se, yet still found myself reaching for processed fatty foods when I was given the chance. Then I discovered a way to have the best of both worlds: by making the foods I’d always loved (such as cookie dough, pancakes, carrot cake cupcakes, the list goes on and on…) but simply creating healthier versions of them.
That’s where this blog comes in!
I decided to share my love for food, baking, & healthy recipes with others after being prompted several times by friends & family who frequently enjoyed my creations. Through this blog, I hope to inspire others to enjoy a happier, healthier life without giving up the delicious tastes of the food they love.
I post every Wednesday and Sunday, and am always open to suggestions for new foods to “healthify”. Feel free to contact me any time about recipes, substitutions, etc., I’d love to hear from you!
