No Bake Chocolate Mousse Pie

For me, Thanksgiving has always been a time of no regrets.

It’s been a time of focusing not on health or fitness, but on spending time with the people you love, and the people who love you. Whether that be with your family, your friends, or even your neighbors, maintaining these relationships is incredibly important. I feel that I take for granted my family and friends a lot of time, and Thanksgiving, to me, always serves as a wake up call to force me to evaluate how much time I’m giving to others in my life.

However, why do health and Thanksgiving have to be mutually exclusive? Why can’t we continue to nurture our bodies with natural, delicious food, while spending time with our loved ones?

This Thanksgiving, you can. With this utterly decadent No Bake Chocolate Mousse Pie.

This pie only requires four ingredients and can be prepared in less than five minutes. You simply whisk all the ingredients together in a bowl until the mixture is smooth and glossy. Then scoop it into a pie crust and let chill in the refrigerator for a couple hours. Once your family has finished eating dinner, you can pull out the pie, top it with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream (such as the coconut whipped cream from this recipe) and serve it up!

No one will know it’s secretly healthy. And, even better, you can enjoy seconds, or even thirds, without entering into that terrible post-Thanksgiving food-coma where you’ve consumed so much sugar and fat in a short period of time that your body basically shuts everything down to digest.

Instead, you can focus on what really matters: catching up with those you love. And making sure this Thanksgiving is your most memorable one yet.
